Adolescer
Program to integrate family-company-community
The Renner Herrmann S.A group, with Metalgráfica Renner of Gravataí / RS, has implemented the program Adolescer Renner, a project that attempts to prepare teenagers for their future life choices. To achieve that, the program discusses matters that are important for their personal and professional development. The subjects are dynamically approached with the assistance of partners from the community (Sebrae- Junior Achievement, Universities, etc).
Objectives: - To promote the integration of Renner, the employee’s family and the community. - To work on matters that are important for the emotional, social and family development of the teenager, and that involve their personal and professional choices. - To create moments of integration, socialization and development of citizenship.
Reach: Employees’ children who are between 15 and 18 years old, and the community attended by the Programa de Responsabilidade Social (Program of Social Responsibility).
Participation: Through registration – the teenager must be, at least, on the eighth grade (to be verified in the community) and present an enrollment receipt.
How it works: 1. The project lasts 9 months, 160 hours in total. 2. The weekly meetings last four (4) hours. 3. Absences must be justified (health reasons, family problems or studying) and are limited to three. 4. The schedule is the opposite of the school period. Every trimester the participant must present a school report informing frequency and achievements. 5. The program is divided in five blocks: integration; behavioral development; specific issues; professional choice; future evaluation and project.
Editions: The project has had two editions so far, benefiting 46 adolescents, with a total of 320 hours of work.
